Who is responsible for your data
Key Jordan for Recruitment Consultancy LLC (شركة مفتاح الأردن لاستشارات التوظيف ذ.م.م), a limited liability company registered in Amman, Jordan under registration number 38020, trading as KeyJordan, operates kjats.com. For privacy questions and for any request about your data, contact admin@keyjordan.com.
Billing data for clients outside the Middle East and North Africa is handled by Key Global Group LLC, registered in the State of Texas, United States, which takes payment for those accounts. Candidate assessment data is held by KeyJordan only and is never passed to that entity.
There are two relationships to be clear about. For our client accounts — the HR teams who buy the service — we decide how their account data is handled. For candidates, the employer who invited you chose to assess you and decides what happens with the result; we process that data on their instructions and provide the platform.
This matters if you are a candidate: if you want your result withdrawn from a hiring process, the employer who invited you is the party who can decide that. We will always help you reach them, and we will act on their instruction.
What we collect
Account data — name, work email, company, and role on the platform, for the people who administer a client account.
Candidate data — name and email as supplied by the employer inviting you, your answers to assessment items, the scores and bands derived from them, and the date you completed.
Integrity data — how long a sitting took, and whether the assessment tab was left during it. This is recorded on the report because test integrity is part of what the report asserts.
Technical data — IP address, browser and device information, and security and error logs, kept to operate the service and protect it from abuse.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not sell data to anyone.
Why we hold it
To deliver the assessment you were invited to, produce the report, and give the employer the result they asked for.
To operate accounts, take payment, and provide support.
To maintain the benchmark that scores are compared against. Where results contribute to that benchmark they are aggregated into statistics — the benchmark contains no names and cannot be traced back to an individual.
To keep the platform secure and detect misuse.
Automated scoring, human decisions
Assessments are scored automatically, and the report presents a verdict and a band. That scoring is a calculation, not a decision.
We do not make hiring decisions, and our terms require clients not to use a report as the sole or automatic basis for rejecting or selecting anyone. If you believe an assessment result was used to decide about you without human judgement, raise it with the employer who invited you, and tell us at admin@keyjordan.com.
Where it is stored
Assessment and account data is held in our Supabase database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt), and the application is served through Vercel.
Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe receives the billing details it needs to take payment and issue invoices, and holds the card data itself; we never see or store a full card number.
These providers process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Candidate assessment data and reports are kept for 2 years after the assessment is completed, then deleted.
Account data is kept while the account is open, and for a limited period afterwards where we need it for accounting or legal reasons.
Aggregated benchmark statistics are kept indefinitely, because they contain no personal data and cannot be linked back to a person.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it.
- Restrict or object to a particular use.
Write to admin@keyjordan.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are a candidate and the request concerns your assessment result, we will pass it to the employer who invited you and act on their instruction, because the result belongs to their hiring process.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to candidate results is restricted by role, and a client account can only see the candidates it invited. Administrative access is limited to staff who need it.
No system is perfect. If we discover a breach affecting your data we will notify those affected and the relevant authority where we are required to.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will notify account holders of material changes before they take effect.
